The old wooden shutters
on the windows can be opened to illuminate the white walls or closed
down to diffuse the light on a hot summers day. There is an open fireplace
with wood supplied for the winter guests leading to a further room
exposing two two levels, interesting architectural detail and a tiny
courtyard of jasmin and aspidistra. There is a double bedroom and
bathroom on the ground floor. Wooden steps lead to a spacious. bright
and welcoming kitchen / dining room. The dining table of old pine
can accommodate eight people. The next level has a twin bedroom and
a double bedroom with shared bathroom.
Once again there are terracotta floors and beamed ceilings of varied
colours reflecting dazzling light. At the top of the house there is
a large roof terrace with wonderful views of the village and surrounding
countryside. A small room houses the barbeque, chairs and parasole.
Part of the roof is covered in the summer months for more protection.
